Since Mackenzie and Corey met at the Cleveland Beer Festival in 2018, it was only appropriate that they visited some of the city’s most loved and iconic spots during their summertime engagement session. “It was a Saturday and Corey had made early dinner reservations at a downtown Cleveland restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated at a table. Usually, we sit at the bar, so I knew something was up! Once we ordered drinks, Corey got down on one knee and proposed. He hired a photographer to capture the whole event. The best part of the night was when our families showed up to join in on the excitement; we all had a nice dinner and celebrated accordingly with family and friends out in Ohio City. It was a perfect night that I will never forget.”

OUTFIT
“Our goal was to go with a casual outfit (jeans and a nice top), a fancier look (long dress, sports coat), and then a “somewhere in between” look. I did buy two dresses online from Lulu’s, which I loved! Also, I bought a shirt from a local boutique. I incorporated a bracelet my grandmother gave me – I think that made the pictures feel really special.”
HAIR & MAKEUP
“I went a little heavier on my makeup that I normally wear day-to-day. My skin is pretty pale so I wish I would have gotten a spray tan! As for my hair, I wore it how I normally do.”

“Take your time with everything and enjoy every minute of it. The whole engagement process goes by so quickly. It is very easy to get caught up in all the details of getting everything planned for the big day and you may not take the time to enjoy the process. Just remember to have fun with all of it!”
